Ron Garner's New Year's Message

In my book Conscious Health, published by Namaste Publishing, I describe how our body, mind, and spirit work together in a powerful way to create our health, our happiness, and our lives.

Research by Dr Bruce Lipton, also discussed in Conscious Health, proves that the biology of our cells is controlled by our mind. This is primarily because our thoughts, which stem from our beliefs—spiritual and otherwise—cause different chemical responses in our body, depending on whether we feel safe or threatened, happy or annoyed, positive or negative.

When our mind believes something to be true, this causes our body to respond accordingly and make it happen. This is how we create our reality.

Believingis one of five key interconnected elements thoroughly explained in Conscious Health as a way to achieve optimum health and lifelong vitality.

In the Belief section of this book, I explain that love is the creative force of the universe and also the essence of who we are. This loving essence—our spirit, or higher self— always wants the best for us.

If our core beliefs are riddled with thoughts of insecurity, scarcity, illness, or ageing, our subconscious mind will act to create these in our life. On the other hand, if our core beliefs are centered on security, abundance, and wholeness, then we create these as our experience.

It’s up to us to accept or change our environment—something we do through the energy created by our thoughts and beliefs.

Our beliefs provide us with enormous potential to determine the outcome of our health.  While our body functions from stored subconscious memories, which are translated into beliefs, our spirit is always urging us to become the best vision we can hold of ourselves.

By working to become aware, we are better able to connect with our spirit and work toward a more complete happiness and wholeness.

Conscious Health explains that everything in the universe already exists as energy. Creation is a process of connecting via belief to that energy, in order to bring our desires into manifestation.

We are always creating our life circumstances, even though we may not be aware of it; we do it unconsciously. However, we have also been given the gift of free will to consciously connect to the universal life-force with awareness and intention.

So how can we best cooperate with our body to produce health and wellbeing?

First, we need to educate ourselves about how the body is designed to operate naturally and what it requires to produce health. Next, we need to supply those needs with awareness and understanding. An integral part of this formula is to tap into the tremendous creative power of belief we all have that is just waiting for us to consciously connect with it.

Conscious Health was written to present a complete picture of how health is lost and won back, and to act as a practical life-reference guide. In the words of health practitioner John Roberts, “Your book has opened the door to wellness as no other source has been able to.”
